You can pay for your solar panels in the way that suits you best:
- Subscription: With Octopoco, you can finance your solar panels with a monthly payment plan over 4 to 20 years. In most cases, your monthly savings exceed your monthly fee, so your installation won’t cost you a thing.
- One-time payment: The average payback period is around 4 years, while your system will keep producing clean energy for 20+ years.
It depends on your local council and your autonomous community.
Typically, it takes around 30 working days from the moment you sign your contract to the day your solar panels are installed on your roof — though of course, we can adjust to your schedule.
In the Community of Madrid, for example, the process takes a bit longer due to extended public administration procedures.Some municipalities also require a building permit, which may increase the timeline.
Once the installation is scheduled, our technicians will only need one or two days at your home to complete the work.
Octopus Solar Wallet is a virtual wallet where you can accumulate your surplus solar energy as money to deduct from your electricity bills, allowing you to bring your bill down to €0. You can read more about our Solar Wallet here.

Each material has its own warranty:
-Solar panels: 25 years warranty and 25 years warranty for 80% .
-Production. Inverter: 10 years warranty.
-Battery: 10 years warranty.
-Installation warranty (any problems that may arise in your home due to the installation itself): 3 years.
We install solar panels across the entire mainland Spain. We'll be available in the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla in just a few months.
Your solar panel installation starts generating energy the exact moment we finish it. The only thing that will require extra paperwork is the surplus.
Once you're an Octopus customer (whether you've switched your electricity to us or installed solar panels),you’ll receive an email with your personal referral link.
Simply share that link with anyone you like — they can leave their details through it, and we’ll get in touch.Once their installation is complete, you’ll both receive your reward.

Our offer includes the materials (solar panels, inverter, battery, etc.), labour, installation, transport, temporary lifeline and any extra lifting (cranes) or wiring costs that may be required. In this way, the offer we give you at the beginning is 100% transparent and you only have to add your local council taxes, which we cannot include because they vary greatly depending on where you live and other factors.
